This is a starter policy for the Gennie marketing site. Please have it reviewed by a qualified adviser before relying on it, and update it if you add analytics, forms or other data collection.

This site (the “marketing site”) is operated by Nellie Connect Ltd (“we”, “us”). It explains what Gennie is and links you to the Gennie app. This page covers how the marketing site handles your information. The Gennie app is a separate service with its own privacy notice.

What we collect on this site

The marketing site does not ask you to sign up, and it does not collect or store your name, date of birth or any personal profile. We do not run advertising or tracking pixels here. If you click through to the Gennie app, any details you enter there are handled under the app’s own privacy notice.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Netlify) may process standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site securely and reliably. This is a normal part of serving any website and is used for security and performance, not marketing.

Cookies

We use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These are not strictly necessary, so they only run after you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookies link in the footer.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

The site loads two third-party resources to display correctly:

These providers may receive your IP address as part of serving those files. They do not set tracking cookies through this site. If you would prefer no third-party requests at all, contact us and we can self-host these assets.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights over any personal data we hold, including access, correction and erasure. As the marketing site holds no personal profile, these mainly apply to the Gennie app. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
